Adobe Observatory
The Adobe Observatory is a 4,000 square foot, open air observatory that is our primary site for hosting private night sky presentations.
Located east of the city of Twentynine Palms and adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park, it is far from city lights and free
of light pollution.
The Dark Skies of the Mojave Desert
The enclosed observing plaza puts you in a front row seat of a real-life planetarium. Several large telescopes and
relaxing chairs grace the observing plaza as you take in the celestial sphere overhead.
For your private stargazing experience, the Adobe Observatory is a safe and convenient location for a memorable night under the stars with the Twentynine Palms Astronomy Club.
